To Be Born Again As A Sikh

To Be Born Again As A Sikh, To Die Again For Sikh Nation

The Khalsa belongs to Waheguru!
To Waheguru belongs victory!
Yesterday I wrote two pages and now we have only these two pages left; and even these are less than impeccable on account of usage. Dear brothers, following the Supreme Court’s confirmation of our execution, officials from various agencies have continuously visited us to appeal to the President; that in doing so they will procure us with a twenty-year sentence instead. They heard the home truths we responded with and left, time and again. We told them that Sikhs never beg for mercy; appealing is not something we could ever think of considering! This is but one lifetime – for our Qaum we are willing to sacrifice millions of such lifetimes. To think – birth repeatedly into the home of a Sikh and to die for the Qaum is our desire – yet you talk of appeals! If your rulers have the courage to do so, then hang us in front of the whole world so that people can come to know how Sikhs who fight for truth and the righteous way, face the penalty of death with delight.
We do not know why the Jailers have become so hateful of our clothing. Today again, twenty to twenty-five police officers came to us along with the DIG of the jail. We took a stand and dared any one of them to step forward! Their intention is to hang us in prison clothing, but we will do our best to see through to the end our aim to wear our Kesri turbans, Bana and Kachera. We have faith in the True Lord that this wish of ours will be fulfilled. Today, the DIG of Police asked us for a Kara as a gift. We told him that we could gift him a Kara, but that he would then have to do only good with his hands. He replied that he was already engaged in good deeds. Two inspectors also took Kareh. Today we were closed off quicker than usual. Close has otherwise come at eleven o’clock or midnight in recent days where due to the obstacles being placed before us, we would not allow it to occur efficiently. To date, we have broken some eighty of the tube lights in the yard; also, four of the CCTV cameras pointing at the yard. On one occasion we did not acknowledge the order to withdraw for close and it reached ten o’clock; brother Harjinder Singh began to read a newspaper and I asked him why he was doing so, to talk with me instead for we don’t have many days left. He reminded me that we had stepped on this path together, and so we would face execution together. Please pass on our dear greetings to brother Daljit Singh; our nation is in great need of such diamonds. The love and respect we have for him in our hearts cannot be put into a garland of letters and words. Please pass on our greetings to brother Paramjit Singh Panjwar, brother Bhalwan, Dr Sahib, sister Amrit Kaur, sister Dr, brother Manjit Singh and Rajinder Singh from England and to all other friends and well-wishers. Due to a change in prison conditions, we could not reply to any letters. We apologise to all.
