Shaheed Bhai Paramjit Singh Chhina

Bhindranwala Tigers Force of Khalistan 

 

Bhai Paramjit Singh Chhina alias Pamma, a resident of village Harsha Chhina, Tehsil Ajnala, District Sri Amritsar, who fought and became a martyr in the Khalistan struggle. In June 1984, after the Sikh massacre, Bhai Satnam Singh Satta Chhina joined the armed struggle for the independence of Khalistan, the police not only made Bhai Chhina’s family a victim of their torture, but also committed great atrocities on Bhai Paramjit Singh’s family too. 

 

The police used to arrest Bhai Pamma from his house every other day and take him to the police station, where he was beaten until he became unconscious. Fed up with police atrocities, one day Bhai Pamma also went to Bhai Satnam Singh Chhina in Uttar Pardesh and started serving in the armed struggle by joining the Jhujaru Singhs of Bhindranwala Tigers Force of Khalistan. After leaving his home, butcher police officers harassed Bhai Pamma’s family a lot. Due to the wrath of the police, the entire family left the village and went somewhere else to live. It was the police who forced Bhai Pamma to become a Jhujaru Singh, although it was never his fault. Then, burning in the fire of revenge, Bhai Pamma, under the leadership of Bhai Chhina, took part in many Jhujaru actions and assassinated many anti-Sikh elements belonging to the Delhi Darbar. 

 

The police and CRPF were roaming around Punjab and UP to eliminate Bhai Pamma. On 22nd December 1991, Bhai Paramjit Singh Chhina alias Pamma, a warrior of Khalistan, was surrounded by a large circle of Indian security forces and became immortal by drinking the cup of martyrdom while fighting with the enemies till his last breath.
