How Can You Call Yourselves Unarmed?

Shaheed Bhai Jugraj Singh Toofan

We get accused with allegations (by the Indian Government) that on what basis of an attack on those targeted individuals who are unarmed; is not the work of the brave and nor can it be called so. Well, I believe this is a misleading statement used as propaganda to show us in a bad light. Let’s flip the comparison. Your military, your army, your police whose sole purpose is to defend people and country. But yet all it takes is for your order and instruction to use them against the people and in a blink of an eye, without warning you wreak tragedy and havoc on unarmed innocent civilians. How is this anymore justified?

I want to openly remind you that your unethical and unwarranted use of your weaponry has been used as a means to justify your attack on us. You have used this to your advantage and taken every opportunity to taunt us. And yet because of this, you have used your propaganda and deliberately left us (the Sikhs/Next generation) unarmed in every sense of the word. Your force and power is unlimited and backed by your large blinded army force and today’s high-tech weaponry.

You have left no room for a mutual and equal fight on a fair battle ground. And yet you call us unfair in the name of fight and target. We are left with no choice but to use alternate means of eliminating the perpetrators, even if that means attacking in a disguised burglar fashion. We don’t do this for fun! But since you have waged and conspired a silent and upspoken attack against our Sikh nation, then we must respond in such a way. Our history needs this and needs to see any means possible in serving justice to these evil-doers.

A truth in history which you should never forget, when Abdali and Nadar Shah, the evil doers captured your daughters and daughters-in-law, it was our honourable and principled Sikh men who would go to free them and return them home to you. Even then our Singhs had to manoeuvre secretly and undercover through forest jungles and unknown paths. Through this manner our Singhs were still able to return such a retaliation it made the enemy stunned and jealous of our resolve, courage and bravery. Our humanism is so grand and encompassing that we can embrace the entire man-kind.

In all honesty though, a legitimate and fair battle between our Singhs and your folk has been few and far between. But where they have occurred, you have been witness to, our bravery and majestic martial warfare. These episodes of history are no doubt kept in your records, but you only publish half the truth in your newspapers to what you are able to bear and stomach.

Our Khalsa strength is a direct result of our enlightened Sikh history and past. Our history is a part of us and runs in our veins. And during such times (of battle and fighting against oppression) this eternal light is reflected and seen through the lightning flash of a wielding sword.
