Bhai Harnam Singh Sanghna alias Sekhon was born in the year 1972 in the house of Sardar Gurmukh Singh and from the womb of Mata Harbhajan Kaur, in the Village of Sanghna, District Amritsar. Bhai Sahib had 5 Brothers and Sisters. Bhai Sahib completed his primary education at a high school of Village Sanghna. From childhood Bhai Sahib was attached to Sikhi and for this reason Bhai Sahib didn't tell anyone and went to Baba Charan Singh Ji Kar Sewa Wale to do Sewa. After some days Bhai Sahibs Mata Ji and Pita Ji talked to Bhai Sahib to come back home and then Bhai Sahib took an admission in Guru Ram Das School, village Chittiwind district Amritsar for the remainder education but as Bhai Sahib had love for the Guru Ghar, now as he studied, he would also do Sewa of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Akaal Purakh had given Bhai Sahib a beautiful face. Everyone that saw Bhai Sahib would be overjoyed. Bhai Sahib had a humble and loveable personality.

Bhai Sahib was one of the thousands of Singh's that stepped in to the battlefield, shoulder to shoulder with other Khadku Singh's to avenge the attack of Sri Akaal Takht Sahib and the killings of Sikhs all over India in November, after the assassinations of Indira Gandhi.

When Bhai Sahib would go to school from home, he would go straight to Sri Harimandir Sahib after school. At Sri Harimandir Sahib Bhai Sahib came in contact with Bhindranwale Tigers Force of Khalistan's Bhai Karaj Singh Thande. Bhai Sahib said to Bhai Karaj Singh Thande, "I also want to do Sewa for the Sikh Panth with you." Bhai Karaj Singh Thande answered, "You are a child, your age is to study, you should study for now." But Bhai Sahib did not listen to that. Every day Bhai Sahib would go to school from home and then to Sri Harimandir Sahib from school. Bhai Sahib's parents didn't know that their son was not going to school. All Bhai Sahib wanted was to become a Jujharu Singh of the Sikh Panth. Soon Bhai Sahib took Amrit from the Panj Pyare at Sri Harimandir Sahib.

When the Indian security forces stormed in to Sri Harimandir Sahib again after 1984, Bhai Sahib never returned home that day. The Indian army named that operation Black Thunder. When Bhai Sahibs parents got in touch with the school, the principle said Bhai Sahib had not been going to school for some days. Then Bhai Sahib's parents went to the relatives house and here also they got no information on Bhai Sahibs whereabouts was obtained. The live footage of black thunder at Sri Harimandir Sahib was being shown on national TV. In this footage two Singh's were filling buckets of water for the Singh's from the Sarovar and one of them where Bhai sahib. The parents recognized their son from this footage. Only then Bhai Sahib's parents realized what path their son was walking on. Bhai Sahib wanted to attain Shaheedi in Sri Harimandir Sahib while he fought Indian security forces, but Bhai Karaj Singh Thande told Bhai Sahib and other Singh's to leave the complex with the rest of the pilgrims but Bhai Sahib said, "Singh Sahib, I want to attain Shaheedi with you." Bhai Karaj Singh Thande said that, "It is my order to you to leave right now because warriors like you need to be alive for the Sikh Panth." Upon hearing this Bhai Sahib came out of the complex with the pilgrims.

When Bhai Sahib came outside an insider who was on the enemies side pointed Bhai Sahib to the Indian security forces and said that he is the companion of Bhai Karaj Singh Thande. The police arrested Bhai Sahib and sent him to jail. Bhai Sahib was charged with many fake cases. After this the Punjab Police went to Bhai Sahibs house to question their parents. The police told them that their son had been arrested from Sri Harimandir Sahib. Then both parents' went to jail to meet Bhai Sahib. When they saw Bhai Sahib they said, "Son what path have you taken?" Bhai Sahib answered, "I have taken the path I wanted to take and it is impossible to come back. Mother from now on only think that you have 3 sons and not 4 because I only came out of Sri Harimandir Sahib because Bhai Karaj Singh Thande ordered me to do his Sewa that is incomplete, I will complete the tasks given to me till my last breath, I will do Sewa for the Sikh Panth."

In jail Bhai Sahib met the Khadku Singh's of Bhai Seetal Metewal's Dasmesh Regiment. These Singh's also arranged for Bhai Sahib's bail fees. After being released on bail, Bhai Sahib visited his house after some days. He said to his parents, "I have bailed myself out and from today on I will do Sewa of the Sikh Panth. If you are scared then you can disown me!" Some days later Baba Gurbachan Singh Manochahal appointed Bhai Sahib in Bhai Karaj Singh Thande's position and from here on Bhai Sahib was doing some great Sewa for the Sikh Panth.

In 1991, Bhai Sahib had and intense encounter with the Punjab Police in which Bhai Sahib's 4 fellow Singh's attained Shaheedi along with 4 other Khadku Singh's. The Punjab Police took Bhai Sahib's mother to identify Bhai Sahib's Shaheedi Saroop. After looking at Shaheedi Saroop of a Singh Mata Harbhajan Kaur lied to the Punjab Police and said, "Yes, that is my son."

Then some days later Bhai Sahib came to see his family and the village. Bhai Sahib's parents tried there hardest to talk to Bhai Sahib, "Son, in the eyes of the Punjab Police and media you're dead, now please leave this path. We will send you out of India." But Bhai Sahib did not agree with his parents and told his parents that, "I have done Ardas at Sri Harimandir Sahib that my life belongs to Kalgidhar Patshah. I will avenge the attack on Sri Harimandir Sahib." If Bhai Sahib wanted he could've gone underground and started another life elsewhere in the world, but Bhai Sahib did not do that.

Some days later Bhai Sahib released a press note in the newspapers stating that he is in Chardi Kala.

After Bhai Sahib's fellow Singh's attained Shaheedi, for a long time Bhai Sahib joined Bhai Surjit Singh Behla. Then again Bhai Sahib started doing Sewa fearlessly for the Sikh Panth. When Bhai Surjit Singh Behla had a brave encounter with the Indian army, Bhai Sahib was also with Bhai Surjit Singh Behla fighting in this encounter. Bhai Sahib once again managed to escape from this too. After this Bhai Sahib went to Calcutta to do an action, but informants got this information and gave it to the Punjab Police. The Punjab police followed Bhai Sahib from Punjab to Calcutta and arrested Bhai Sahib there. After being arrested Bhai Sahib was blindly tortured. In the end on the 19th November, 1992 the Punjab Police made Bhai Sahib Shaheed in a fake encounter. The following day newspapers printed the report of this made up encounter. At the very young age of 20 Bhai Sahib did great actions to establish our Sikh homeland Khalistan. There is no age of bravery, and Bhai Sahib was born to be fearless warrior.
