Bhai Bhagwan Singh

Bhai Bhagwan singh was born in the house of Sardar Sohan Singh Nihang, from the womb of Mata Jagir Kaur on the 6th of April 1962, in the village of Chabba. Bhai Sahib had 6 brothers, Bhai Lakhbir Singh, Bhai Kashmir Singh, Bhai Vazir Singh, Bhai Ishar Singh, Bhai Bhagwan Singh.

Bhai sahib completed his metric education in 1980-81 .He was a sports man, he enjoyed playing kabbadi and football, for which he won many prizes.

For some time Bhai Sahib regularly came to Sri Harimandir Sahib and took part in Dharam Yudh Morcha. In June 1984, when the Indian army attacked Sri Harmandir Sahib. Bhai Sahib and his brother Bhai Gurmukh Singh were part of Bhai Sukhdev Singh Chabba's jatha, they fought from the bunkers of the clock house and killed many army officers that tried to come into Sri Darbar Sahib with their shoes on. When the Indian army was made to pull back, they again attacked but this time with tanks and cannons. The Indian Army fired a missile, which led to many singhs attaining shaheedi at the clock house bunker. Both brothers attained shaheedi.

His father Sardar Sohan Singh Nihang passed away last year in 2013 after a long illness.
